—What did you like the most from your stay in Copenhagen? —asked my friend while the four of us walked under a light rain towards the Nationalmuseet. (We’d be heading to the airport in a couple of hours so it was just the right moment for this kind of questions).
It din’t even take me two seconds to think about my answer:
—Being with you guys, spending time with you two, cooking together and catching up —I affirmed without a shadow of a doubt.
They thought I was being nice. They said something like “awww” in unison.
It was true though. I’ve done a fair amount of travelling, so I already know which ones are the most valuable moments, the experiences I end up cherishing the most; they are the ones I’ve shared with people I love, old friends, new friends, people who have generously and selflessly shared some of their time with me. Those are the best travelling moments.
